Product Introduction

HRP-580 gun laser methane detector is a professional portable methane (CH) leakage detection equipment, which is specially designed for fast, accurate and safe gas detection applications. The equipment adopts advanced tunable semiconductor laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS), which can realize non-contact methane detection under long-distance conditions, and help operators to quickly find gas leakage without going near dangerous areas.

Principle of Operation

HRP-580 adopts advanced TDLAS (tunable semiconductor laser absorption spectrum) technology to detect methane.

The equipment irradiates the target area by emitting infrared laser with a specific wavelength. When methane molecules exist in the detection path, methane will absorb the laser energy with the corresponding wavelength. The device calculates the methane concentration in the detection path by analyzing the change between the emitted light and the received light and combining with the internal algorithm.

Different from the traditional contact gas detector, HRP-580 can complete the detection without contacting the leakage source, and realize remote and non-contact gas leakage detection, which effectively improves the detection efficiency and reduces the safety risk of workers entering dangerous areas.
