Product core and working principle
The core of this alarm is an infrared photoelectric sensor with special structure. Its working logic is very clever: using the principle that smoke scatters the light source after entering the maze, when the light intensity detected by the light receiving element reaches the preset threshold, it will immediately trigger an alarm. It is especially good at detecting the smoke produced in the early stage of fire (smoldering stage). Once the smoke in the environment dissipates, it will automatically return to the normal monitoring state without manual reset.

Applicable and disabled scenarios
Applicable places: it is very suitable for homes, shops, computer rooms, warehouses, factories and other places to help prevent fire hazards.
Forbidden places: Please do not install in the following places, otherwise it may cause false positives or damage:
Under normal circumstances, there are damp or stagnant places.
Places where corrosive gases exist.
Where the relative humidity is greater than 95%.
Ventilation speed is greater than 5 m/s area.

Installation and self-inspection steps
Installation is very simple, mainly divided into three steps:
Fixing the base: punch holes in the ceiling 50mm-68mm away from the edge, and fix the base with expansion plugs and screws.
Battery loading: Open the base and load two 1.5AA batteries (be sure to pay attention to the positive and negative poles, the reverse connection will not work and may damage the equipment).
Installation of the main engine: rotate the alarm body according to the logo, and when you hear a "click", it means that it is in place.

Self-inspection suggestion: In order to ensure the normal operation of the equipment, it is recommended to conduct a test once a month. Just press and hold the test key. If the indicator lights up and gives a loud alarm sound, it means that the equipment is in good condition.

State identification and fault handling
The device transmits status information through indicator lights and sounds:
Normal operation: The red indicator lights up about every 56 seconds, indicating that the equipment is automatically detecting the surrounding environment.
Fault alarm (low battery): If the device gives out a "meow" sound every 56 seconds, it means that the battery is low and needs to be replaced immediately, otherwise the alarm function will be affected.
Fire alarm: When the smoke concentration at the scene reaches the alarm value, the indicator light will flash quickly with continuous alarm sound.
Mute function: If the alarm is caused by smoking or other non-fire reasons, you can press the mute button, and the equipment will be temporarily muted for about 90 seconds, and then the monitoring will be automatically resumed.
False alarm handling: If the equipment frequently makes false alarms, it is usually because the sensor has accumulated too much dust. It is recommended to clean the external maze (black plastic part) with a vacuum cleaner.

Maintenance and precautions
Unauthorized disassembly is strictly prohibited: if the equipment fails, please contact the supplier, and do not disassemble and repair it privately to avoid accidents.
Long-term storage: If it is not used for a long time, you must remove the alarm and take out the battery and store it in a ventilated and dry place.
Warranty information: the warranty period of the product is one year, and it is only responsible for the direct responsibility of the product.

This alarm has simple design and high sensitivity. As long as the battery is checked regularly and kept clean, it can provide you with stable and reliable fire warning protection.
